The demon was smaller and weaker than what she had imagined, yet it stole Georgine's heart nonetheless. Until now, she had lived day by day, simply performing the requiets of her master, but for the first time, Georgine now held a desire. "I want to give him a family," said the witch, and she set to work creating even more impish fiends. Before long, her quaters were crowded with demons, and Geogrine was mother to all.
Georgine is an English, French, and German variant of an English feminine name Georgia. A feminine variant of an English masculine name George, from the Greek name Γεωργιος (Georgios) which was derived from the Greek word γεωργος (georgos) meaning "farmer, earthworker", itself derived from the elements γη (ge) "earth" and εργον (ergon) "work".
