Upon alighting onto the battlefield, Ares's hunger is appeased with elation. His armor shines. His wings radiant. His sword brilliant. As if cursed with conviction, he battles rampant. There is only life or death; surrender is not an option.

Ares is the Greek god of war. He is one of the Twelve Olympians. In Greek literature, he often represents the physical or violent and untamed aspect of war. Ares mean "bane, ruin, curse, imprecation".
