Taking Celina by the hand, the lunar messenger tore her away from her lover and brought her back to the moon, explaining that she must fulfill her royal duty. She now finds no rest, instead dancing the night away. She hopes that her dancing will flow though the moonbeams and convey her feelings to her distant lover. Their time together had been brief, but she had loved him. Her dancing days would continue into eternity...
Etymologically and historically, Celina is most closely traced to the name of a Greek goddess of the moon. Celina is also sometimes identified with the goddess Artemis.
