"Step forward if you are prepared to fight. Then I will show you the meaning of loyalty!" Entrusting the princess to her subordinates, she shouted her challenge as she charged at the enemy, battleaxe in hand. Any number could desire her death and still it would not diminish her fighting spirit. As long as she were able to save the young girl, then her sacrifice would not be in vain. Quenti knew her bravery would burn brightly, as a shining example of valor, in the naive young girl's eyes.
Quenti or Quinti is a masculine name of the Native American-Quechua origin; the meaning is "hummingbird".
Also the Quenti is a script invented by Kevin Banks for the invented languages of Elder Tongue (Lingo Almea), Maiarin (Lingo Maiaran), and Aranin (Lingo Aranion), which are widespread throughout Endor (the world where the histories take place), although the latter two are rarely ever written with the quenti. The name for the alphabet is an Elder Tongue word that means "sound characters", as opposed to senur, or "letters, runes", which are used for the Speeches of Men. It resembles the scripts invented by J.R.R. Tolkien, but follows a different pattern and is made to resemble some of the Roman alphabet.
