The sunlight of Neotellus disappeared when the Queen of Light, the embodiment of the sun, took refuge in the crystal cavern. This weakened the beings of nature and drove the wildlife to madness. Ryan was on the forefront of the effort to restore the sunlight. He let loose an unending volley of arrows against the Knights of Darkness who sought to capture the Queen of Light.
