LoreEdit

After many battles, Geryon's name and fighting prowess spread like wildfire. But his only desire was to settle down in a quiet place and raise cattle for the rest of his days.

AcquisitionEdit

See Wandering Geryon.

Name OriginEdit

In Greek mythology, Geryon, son of Chrysaor and Callirrhoe and grandson of Medusa, was a fearsome giant who dwelt on the island Erytheia of the mythic Hesperides in the far west of the Mediterranean. A more literal-minded later generation of Greeks associated the region with Tartessos in southern Iberia.

Geryon was often described as a monster with human faces. According to Hesiod, Geryon had one body and three heads, whereas the tradition followed by Aeschylus gave him three bodies. A lost description by Stesichoros said that he has six hands and six feet and is winged; there are some mid-sixth-century Chalcidian vases portraying Geryon as winged. Some accounts state that he had six legs as well while others state that the three bodies were joined to one pair of legs. Apart from these weird features, his appearance was that of a warrior. He owned a two-headed hound named Orthrus, which was the brother of Cerberus, and a herd of magnificent red cattle that were guarded by Orthrus, and a herder Eurytion, son of Erytheia.

Additional InformationEdit

The planet Neotellus is the closest object to the earth except for the three moons that orbit it.

Due to the similarities in the myths and legends between the two planets, rumors are spreading that Neotellus is just a mere copy of the earth; an altered version of it.

Once upon a time, a young three-headed man named Geryon led a peaceful life tending to his cattle on Erytheia Island. He has maintained a strong, skillful body since childhood and had grown to be a beloved warrior, similar to that of that island’s God of Protection.

Geryon's legend started reach the world and he had little trouble finding an opponent to challenge. However, everything became washed away by the great waves that crashed over his island.

On that unfortunate day, Erytheia Island was destroyed by a terrible Tsunami, most likely caused by a Leviathan .

This caused Geryon to adopt a nomadic life style and along his travels, his legend further became known far and wide as a frightening man. Wherever he goes, there are always warriors challenging him to make names for themselves.

However, Geryon has never turned down a challenge nor has he yet to lose a match.
