Velfi grit her teeth as the hostile tribesmen ran amok in her village. She had suffered a severe wound from a previous battle, and thus was no longer was fit for battle. Anger towards her frailty and the enemy coursed through her blood, but it was then she recalled her clan's treasure, the Wildeye Mantle. Made from the pelt of a possessed white wolf, it would release her from the bonds of pain and fatigue and change her into an unstoppable beast. Despite the steep price, it was a pittance in exchange for saving her kin.
