Bolf was known as the Wicked Ox, the Heretic King, harbinger of calamity and strife. It was he who sought out the horned abomination and took him under his wing. At first, Bardem abhorred the idea of bending his knee to a king, but he soon realized that he could sate his bloodlust with impunity as a member of Bolf's ranks. For the bloodthirsty ruler believed that nothing was more tranquil than a battlefield littered with corpses and silent as death.
