(Renounce) Eliahan, Corrupted Saint

Lore[]

Had there been another to support Eliahan through her troubled times, the situation may have developed differently. However, the demon had convinced her to unleash her malice and hatred upon the ingrates. As she cruelly murdered them in cold blood, they continued to beg for her mercy. However, assuming they were stubborn to the end, such entreaties only served to intensify her wrath.

Name origin[]

A saint is one who has been recognized for having an exceptional degree of holiness. Depending on the religion, saints are recognized either through official church recognition or by popular acclaim. The English word saint is from the Latin sanctus, in origin a term in indigenous tradition connected to the name of the god Sancus (the god of trust (fides), honesty, and oaths), but in Christian context used to translate the Greek ἅγιος (hagios), derived from the verb ἁγιάζω (hagiazo), which means "to set apart", "to sanctify" or "to make holy".

Virtue (Latin: virtus, Ancient Greek: ἀρετή "arete") is moral excellence. A virtue is a positive trait or quality deemed to be morally good and thus is valued as a foundation of principle and good moral being. Personal virtues are characteristics valued as promoting collective and individual greatness. The opposite of virtue is vice.
