When night falls, the forest undergoes a fantastical transformation. This is the White Rabbit's cue to change into her festive attire and sneak toward the forest entrance. She lies in wait for her sister to come and distract the Card Soldiers. As they angrily demand an excuse for her late arrival, the younger sister slips past them and nonchalantly joins the party.
