Bauduin assaults the deranged humans as he mentally wrestles with his internal conflict. "Why did I ever worship the gods at all?" he wonders while the body count and the snow drifts accumulate. Though he no longer understands why he fights, guilt wells up in his mind as blood stains his holy sword, as if he is committing some taboo act.
Baudoin (Baudouin, Bauduin) is a French variant of masculine name Baldwin (Old French, Old German); the meaning is "bold, brave friend". It is a two-element name derived from bald and wine with the meanings "bold, brave" and "friend" respectively. It was borne by Norman Crusader Baldwin of Boulogne, who was elected first king of Jerusalem in 1100.
"Reborn" powered-up animated version released as (Forsake) White Crusader Bauduin with different skill and lore.
