Before such a horror, the supposedly omnipotent gods and hell-raising demons were but terrified mice fleeing in panic. Ilmgart and her sable beast went on a rampage, devouring everything in sight. The more souls she consumed, the more beautiful and powerful she became. As the power of the gods faded, the world began to lose its luster, and as the demons' strength waned, the underworld fell into a deafening silence. Yet Ilmgart's thirst for power and souls remained unquenched. "Time to find a new world," she mused, her twisted hand outstretched in unadulterated greed.
