(Vigor) Death Surpassed Menelaus

Lore[]

With a roar of anger, Menelaus returns the favor by running a spear through Paris' chest. His rival fallen, he searches the castle of Troy for the location of his Helen. When he finds her, her body has already been gripped by the icy touch of death. He falls to his knees as his vision goes dark. With his purpose gone, he questions the gods anew for why he was brought back to life, but receives no reply.

Name Origin[]

From the Greek Μενελαος (Menelaos) which meant "withstanding the people", derived from μενω (meno) "to last, to withstand" and λαος (laos) "the people". In Greek legend he was a king of Sparta and the husband of Helen. When his wife was taken by Paris, the Greeks besieged the city of Troy in an effort to get her back. After the war Menelaus and Helen settled down to a happy life. BehindTheName.com
