When he defeated the clan leader and ended the war, Eugenus felt he had also lost his compatriots. He was assailed by the though of losing all that he had ever known, and tears rolled down his cheeks. For a long time he lingered, kneeling before the falled clan leader's corpse when a realization came to him: He would simply have to create new opponents. He turned his axe on those who had once stood beside him, in the war that would never end.
