Despite his title as guard, Alejandro originally had no intent to protect the lake. However, as he continued his vigil, he gradually came to feel as though protecting the water was his true mission. He forgot his wish to train and instead kept watch over the still pool before him. Though the job may be meaningless, Alejandro won't forsake his goal.
