Latika taught many in the ways of alchemy in her own residence. Though she kept half of her face concealed by her hair and half of her body wrapped in bandages, the young students adored her all the same. For she fervently shared the fascination of alchemy, regardless of a pupil's capability for learning. All held the same potential in her eyes, and her limitless patience ensured that all would come to an understanding under her tutelage.
Latika is a feminine name of Hindi origin; the meaning is "elegant, small". From Sanskrit translates as "creeper, vine".
