Within the molten swirling about the center of the star, Helfried radiates his immense power, preserving its blazing heat. He is the lone presence sustaining life on the surrounding planets. Though but few are aware of his efforts, they extol him as the greatest ruler of Neotellus and strive to spread knowledge of his works so they would not fade from the minds of men.

Helfried and Helmfried are German masculine names, a variant of Ancient Germanic Helmfrid; derived from the Germanic elements helm "helmet" and frid "peace".
