The crimson moon smoldered like a blood-red flame in the sky as it arose, transforming the world below into a haunt for the newly born dark apparitions. Requiring the blood of a hundred, Hinagiku the demon slayer's coal-colored kimono fluttered as she brandished her sword. For but an instant there was a flash in the darkness, then a spray of blood as two heads and three arms ascended into the air, at last falling to the ground. It was then the demons knew their remaining moments were all too few.
