There was a certain species of fungus that was infamous for its astonishing propagation speed. One particular cluster spread across a battlefield, the amassed bones and weapons giving it the appearance of a fearsome beast. Though unable to fly, it caught the wind in its fibrous webbing and descended upon a small town. That was the first sighting of the scourge known as Yazustium.
