As the decorating of the Christmas tree in the city plaza neared completion, the choirmaster Holibelle began trimming the one at the chapel with the help of the other members of her modest ensemble. When the bells of the clock tower tolled to announce the holiday's approach, she would sing her favorite seasonal carols.
