The blessed blood absorbed itself into Ginevra and filled her with immense power, so much so that it bestowed divine properties upon her trusty greatsword. Recognizing it was the might of the angels, she also realized why the monsters attacked her village -- they were frightened one would do as she just had, and they indeed had gathered around the entrance to the shrine, waiting to ambush her. Yet as she stepped from the entryway, they were no longer worthy of her fear.

Ginevra or Guinevere is a variant spelling of the female given name Gwenhwyfar, which in Welsh is a combination of the word gwen, which means "white" or "fair", and hwyfar which means a "spirit" or "fairy".
