Gauche received his first "opportunity" after becoming a subordinate of Rayzas. The gallant Rayzas had been infected by the "demon-fume plague" that had infested a small village. He had then transformed into a demon himself and attacked the people. This was Gauche's chance to get revenge upon Rayzas for scarring his back while also putting a stop to him. But there was one thing that troubled Gauche. He couldn't understand why anger had begun building up deep in his chest since he had heard the news of Rayzas' transformation.

Name origin[]
Gauche means left, left-handed or awkward in French. Main-gauche is a dagger mainly to assist in defense by parrying enemy thrusts, while the dominant hand wielded a weapon intended for one-handed use.
