The Quicksand Sage doesn't perceive them as being gross, which is why they always drop everything for the Sage when called upon. They simply can't help looking forward to when the Sage summons them. And as a result, they have been able to mingle with various kinds of creatures. Living in this magnificent desert together with the Sage, who has a soft spot for insects, the two of them couldn't be happier.
