Ilva had once been able to remain active throughout the other seasons, only being afflicted with her unusual condition rather recently. Fortunately, the cause was discovered and eliminated by the efforts of the Hero. For the first time in years, her heart swelled with joy as she anticipated the sensation of the warming sunlight. And she soon found evidence of its arrival in a few hardy buds peeking through the snow-covered branches.
