A terrifyingly beautiful demon lives in a cave near the shoreline. But despite her intimidating appearance, she's quite amicable. She dislikes killing living creatures and hasn't partaken of anything other than water for many years. Though she's always plagued with a hunger that would drive most people insane, Kira abstains because of her unconditional love for all living things.

Kira is the the Japanese word for killer. Japanese took the word killer and put in katakana as a kira.
