It was the birthday celebration for Luschka's father, the king. Luschka wanted to perform a rousing war song as a present, and she had practiced her hardest. However, she became overtaken by anxiety before her act. Would he like her singing? Would he disapprove of her strange friends? The monster children encouraged Luschka, telling her everything would be fine. With renewed confidence, Luschka and her choir gave a stirring presentation. When they finished, Luschka looked at her father's face and saw the brightest smile she had ever seen.
