Adid, her wings dark as night, mustered the remnants of her strength to return to the Heavens. Yet as she climbed higher, the clear skies suddenly grew turbulent and stormy. Her unclean wings were unable to withstand the intense winds and they began to shed their plumage. Her extended arms reached out for salvation, but she grasped naught but air and plunged towards the surface below.
