Abandoned to the river as an illegitimate child, the hex-caster Kujaa was raised in a sewer town formed by similar outcasts. She harbored a bitter grudge against the world above as she was forced to eat nothing but mud-caked scraps of food. So when she found a sealed beast even further from the surface, there was little deliberation in freeing it. "If this world produced me only to spite me, then I will return in kind. Cursed beast, I will help you spread havoc the likes of which have never been seen before..."
