"My directive is to protect this municipality." A magical tinker wished to create an apparatus for preservation rather than offense, and so built the Defensive Anti-Raid Automated Mechanism. It had an array of devastating weaponry, but was instructed only to use them to protect the city's residents. Fortunately, that function was never required, and it instead tended to the park and children that played there, who lovingly called him DARAM.
