Ricoeur came to the fabled cave that contained the sacred armor, shield, and sword wielded by countless "Heroes of Legend" in the past. He was greeted by the sight of heaps of rotting corpses. The air was thick with death. "Bet some of them used to live in my hometown..." he thought. He felt a pang in his heart as he mourned their loss in silence. He would become a hero that they could be proud of. He just had to.
