An ancient, expansive forest grew in southern Neotellus. There was a dark swamp hidden amidst the thick trees. It was said that a beast that had lived since ancient times lurked in the swamp. The creature had the face of a dog and the body of a monkey. Just hearing these tales caused people's hair to stand on end, but the beast's most fearsome feature was the black shell covering its body. The shell had a black luster like that of a rhinoceros beetle. The shell was so frighteningly tough that even the greatest swordsman couldn't damage it. Should you encounter this creature, you must flee as quickly as possible.
