Lycia was a goddess who held the Realm Key, an artifact that could open and close gaps that formed in the border between two worlds, known as "Chaos Ingresses." Their formation would lead to war, death, and destruction -- or worse -- in both existences. As protector of the border, it was her duty to mend the damage when some heedless action had created a Chaos Ingress. However, aware of the dark ambitions at large, she employed a mighty guardian to accompany her to her destination so she may restore peace.
