As a replacement occupation, he served as his kingdom's executioner, using blades newly crafted for royalty and nobility to "test" the sharpness of their edges. Whenever his services were required, an official summons would be dispatched listing those to be executed the following day. However, one such notice bore a rather astonishing pair of names...
