Filomena had fallen in love. Not that that was particularly uncommon, as it occurred several times within a month. She would shipwreck each passing ship and drag the most comely occupant into the ocean. Her incredible allure did nothing to quell the screams of her victims. Utterly oblivious to the rashness of her actions, she assumed only that human males were painfully shy.
