The gods have entrusted Florenzia with the task of watching over the ocean currents. She and her small dragons constantly patrol the seas. When the dragons detect even the slightest irregularity, they immediately report their findings to Florenzia. She then sets out to investigate the cause. Without Florenzia the currents would cease to flow, and great disaster would surely befall the world.

Florenzia is a feminine name of Latin origin and it is used mainly in the German language; the meaning is "flowering; blooming, in bloom, flowery; prosperous". It comes from Latin florens, florentius "blossoming", verb floreo, meaning "to flower", in the sense of a blossom. Florenzia is a derivative of the English and French Florence.
