Garnia, Beautiful Ogress

Lore[]

The Uncontrollable. The Destroyer of Stars. Mayhem Incarnate. Over the years Garnia had been given no end of titles, but tonight she was sure she could change her fate. She would do her best regardless of struggling with her unusual attire. Growing up she had been adored for her loveliness, but eventually it was only her brute strength that came to garner praise. Garnia had decided now was the time for her to reclaim her beauty and prove that even unsightly ogres could be alluring.

Name origin[]

Garnia translates from Latin as "garner". Garnia (protist) is a genus of parasitic protozoa (Greek protos "first", zoon "animal") belonging to the family Garniidae.

An ogre (feminine ogress) is a being usually depicted as a large, hideous, manlike monster that eats human beings. Ogres frequently feature in mythology, folklore, and fiction throughout the world. They appear in many classic works of literature, and are most often described in fairy tales and folklore as eating babies. In visual art, ogres are often depicted as inhumanly large and tall and having a disproportionately large head, abundant hair, unusually colored skin, a voracious appetite, and a strong body. The word ogre is of French origin, originally derived from the name of the Etruscan god Orcus, who fed on human flesh.
