LoreEdit

Within an abandoned sanctuary, Hawkmoon held the mysterious black sword close to his chest. Tomorrow he hoped to sell it for a high price; at least enough to eat well for the next few days. But as the orphan waited for the sun to set and darkness to fill the world once more, he knew little of the blade's true value. Possessing it was proof of one's archdemon status, and it gave its wielder the power to command an army of lesser fiends at his beck and call.

Name OriginEdit

In Biblical tradition, an archdemon (also spelled archdaemon) is a spiritual entity, prominent in the infernal hierarchy as a leader of the infernal host. Essentially, the archdemons is the counterpart of the archangels. Archdemons are described as the leaders of demonic hosts, just as archangels lead choirs of angels.

An heir is  a person who inherits or has a right of inheritance in the property of another following the latter's death; or a person who inherits or is entitled to inherit the rank, title, position, etc., of another.
