The dark thoughts that lurked within the hearts of all angelhood was extracted and coalesced to form Icerya. She was born with six black wings, symbolizing her status as a fallen angel. Fated to be an enemy of the gods from birth, she was driven from the Heavens and has wandered the realms ever since. Her soul of the purest malice seeks nothing but defilement of all, and to rule alone over the destruction.

Name origin[]
Icerya is a genus of scale insects in the family Monophlebidae. Species Icerya purchasi (common name: cottony cushion scale) is a scale insect that feeds on more than 50 families of woody plants, most notably on Citrus and Pittosporum; originates from Australia. Originally described in 1879 from specimens collected in New Zealand as pests of kangaroo acacia, it is now found worldwide where citrus crops are grown.
