Mireia, Downfall Orator

Lore[]

"On the day the world fell into ruin, I was traveling the same as ever. A stream of pitch black energy covered the sky as the ground shook violently. I did not learn of the Shadow King's death until some days later. That moment is when I began the fear the end of Neotellus was inevitable."

Name Origin[]

Mireia is Catalan feminine name of Provençal origin; the meaning is "admired". Derived it from the Occitan word mirar meaning "to admire". The name first appeared in the form Mirèio, as the title of a 1859 romance poem by the French poet Frédéric Mistral. Other variants are Mirèio (French), Mireya (Spanish), Mireille (English and French).

An orator, or oratist, is a public speaker. An orator may also be called an oratorian — literally, "one who orates". In ancient Rome, the art of speaking in public (Ars Oratoria) was a professional competence especially cultivated by politicians and lawyers. As the Greeks were still seen as the masters in this field, as in philosophy and most sciences, the leading Roman families often either sent their sons to study these things under a famous master in Greece, or engaged a Greek teacher (under pay or as a slave).
