Silvestre felt the uneasy rustling of the forest. The Shadow King had been defeated, yet the world had become mired in a greater calamity. As he lived deep in the woodlands, that was the extent of his knowledge. He knew not if the growing ferocity of the beasts was related. Yet he could not ignore their behavior, for he was their king.
