Attired in festive red, Holibelle and her choir stepped in front of the congregation that had gathered to celebrate the occasion. As the tower bells chimed once again, they quietly began to sing a sacred melody that praised the blessings of light and life. Their harmonized voices not only filled the chamber, but also passed through the chapel walls and out onto the snowy streets. The song ended, and the following silence worried Holibelle, but only briefly. Her audience was simply so stunned by the hymn's loveliness that they needed to recover their senses before offering their thunderous applause.
