It is said that the most ancient kingdom of all, steeped in history and culture, had already fallen into decline before the enemy invasion. The old ways were abandoned as obsolete, supplanted by new ideas more compatible with the times. Some would say this change was inevitable. But Titania and her royal blood boiled at this assertion. All she needed were two things: the Terra shard, the royal treasure that proved the legitimacy of her noble line, and herself, a living member of that line. As long as she held the Shard, Titania knew that she would one day return her kingdom to its former glory.

Titania is a character in William Shakespeare's play A Midsummer Night's Dream. In the play, she is the queen of the fairies. Due to Shakespeare's influence, later fiction has often used the name "Titania" for fairy queen characters.
In traditional folklore, the fairy queen has no name. Shakespeare took the name "Titania" from Ovid's Metamorphoses, where it is an appellation given to the daughters of Titans.
