The goddess Mercedes was also known as the "Winged Convictor". She continually sought to improve her strength to more effectively hunt down criminals that had managed to evade the grasp of her fellow gods. Any half-hearted souls that happened to approach her were met with certain death. She chased down even the strongest creatures in the land, cutting them down with her divine blade that washed away all crimes. Those who died by her sword were thoroughly rid of the evil inside them, allowing them to reintegrate into the circle of life.
