Zombie reg

Lore[]

When Descea awoke, the nauseating stench of blood nearly caused her to faint anew. She only retained consciousness through the intensity of her furor. As she saw her handmaidens prone on the floor, she cursed the dreadful circumstances. It was Halloween, the night she was to give treats to all the children and hold a jovial banquet, yet someone had dashed those plans to pieces. Fighting past the taste of iron in her mouth, she yelled at the top of her lungs, "I command someone to bring Aggart to me!"

Name origin[]

In Haitian rural folklore, a zombie (Haitian Creole: zonbi, Haitian French: zombi) is an animated corpse raised by magical means, such as witchcraft. The concept has been popularly associated with the Vodou religion, but it plays no part in that faith's formal practices. Zombies described as dead persons physically revived by the act of necromancy of a bokor sorcerer, a witch-like figure. Zombies remain under the control of the bokor as their personal slaves, since they have no will of their own.

In fiction, zombies are creatures, typically depicted as mindless, reanimated human corpses (sometimes animals) with a hunger for human flesh, regularly encountered in horror and fantasy themed works.
